The Mission Neem Herbal Incense creation process has been passed down from village lore and has been hand made for centuries.
Typically, distillate extracts of agarwood, sandalwood and flowers are used. We also blend other natural powders, sandalwood refuse, clove, and fruit essences, depending on festival, use or preference.
Traditionally, different natural or synthetic powders are rolled together with a natural binder and ‘scented’.
If you prefer, we also offer blessed and smoked leaves, which are then crushed and this relatively scentless body is dipped at your place of worship. Calcium carbonate (scent enhancer) and then fragrance oils which seep into it to emit the fragrance when lit.
Popular now are mint based flake incense that are moist and dried in your home or place of worship.
